Trails Near Chimney Rock:
- Chimney Rock Loop
A moderate hike that loops around Chimney Rock. You will see why Chimney Rock is also known as “Three Fingers” when you loop around the north side of the trail. - Sugarloaf Loop and Summit
Takes you up sugar loaf hill with views of Chimney Rock and an option to climb to the summit.

Where is Chimney Rock?
Chimney Rock Loop Trailhead: From uptown head Southwest on 89a, turn right on Dry Creek Rd, turn right on Thunder Mountain Rd, drive about 4.3 miles and turn left into the trailhead parking lot.
Sugarloaf Loop Trailhead: From uptown, head Southwest on 89a, turn right on Coffeepot Dr, left on Sandborn Dr, right on Little Elf Dr, right on Buena Vista, trailhead parking will be on the left.

Trails are open year-round.
How much does Chimney Rock cost?
If you plan to park at one of the trailheads, you will need a Red Rock Pass, which can be purchased at the Red Rock Ranger District on Hwy 179 on the way into town or at a number of local vendors in town.
